Billing questions
Hourly windows, 429 handling, and how upgrades apply. Details live in the billing docs.
Hourly. Your plan sets how many scans you can run in the current clock hour. The counter resets at the start of each hour, not on a rolling 60-minute window.
The API returns 429 with Retry-After, X-RateLimit-Remaining: 0, and a reset timestamp. Honor Retry-After before sending another scan, or upgrade the plan. The next hour starts clean.
No. Quota is per account. Every key and the dashboard scanner share the same hourly bucket.
10 MB for uploads and URL downloads. Larger payloads are rejected before ClamAV runs. URL fetches also abort if Content-Length or streamed bytes exceed the cap.
Paid plans go through Stripe Checkout. Changes and cancellations use the Stripe customer portal. The new hourly limit applies as soon as Threatless syncs the subscription.
